Click Here For Fishing Report Archives Flounder have made an excellent showing in the Delaware Bay this year with some real nice fish coming over the rail. Seabass have slowed a bit but should pick back up real strong and tog fishing remains steady. The first bluefin tuna of the year have showed up as well and so far what they lack in size they make up for in numbers. We're hopeful it's a good season on the tuna grounds. Jeff Lauer and friends joined us for their annual weekend of fishing and started the weekend off right with a nice catch of flounder to 24" and a nice catch of Tautog to 6lbs. The following day they were right back at it with another nice catch of flounder and a good catch of tog. Jeff had a day he'll not soon forget harvesting a 7lb 8oz tog and a 8lb 4oz tog himself. Congratulations Jeff! That evening we had a group of fire fighters from City of Wilmington Station 1 for an evening of fishing. Mother nature made conditions a little undesirable but all aboard had a good time harvesting a nice catch of tog up to 7lb 8oz. We were joined by Jerry Markel and friends for a half day of tog fishing and all had a good time and went home with some fine eating. Joe Torrie and friends joined us for a day in the bay and had a nice catch of flounder to 23" and a limit catch of tog to 8lb for Larry Pierce. MSP Equipment joined us for their annual trip entertaining folks from I G Griffith for a day of fishing. The group had a nice catch of flounder to 24" and a good catch of tog to 12lb 4oz for Frank Southard. Lastly, we had a group of fireman from Quarryville PA on board for their annual fishing trip. They started off with a nice catch of flounder and finished with a limit catch of tog. Fishing is great, the weather is great and the season is proving to be a good one. If you need a fishing fix or just want to spend a nice day with family and friends we have the weekend of July 16th and 17th open.
