Grizzly Fishing Report 11-13-2013

Tog fishing has been pretty good and some bigger fish are finally showing up. Striper fishing should get going with the full moon this weekend. We have already caught a few by accident but we will be catching them on purpose real soon. Tog and stripers will both be on the menu till New Years. We have an opening Friday November 22 along with some Fridays and weekdays in December.

Dennis Fish and friends had 27 nice tog and two triggerfish. Troy Blizzard family and friends had 28 nice tog. Karl Reed and friends caught more tog in one day than we have in a long time. However most were undersized. They did return with a nice catch of 30 tog and 2 triggerfish. Alex Levantowsky and an all star crew caught our fastest limit so far. They continued releasing fishing looking for a big one and finally settled on an 8.83 pound fish for the 40th keeper of the trip. Then we had two tough trips that we just averaged two fish a piece on along with a striper.

After things settled down Don Kopp and friends had 25 nice tog along with a striper. Chol Chang and friends had a nice catch of 16 tog before the winds came up forcing us back to the dock early. Larry Gardner and friends joined us and harvested 26 tog including a couple over 7 lbs.
