Grizzly Fishing Report 06-03-2013

The black drum fishing is red hot! Give us a call if you would like to get out. We will be fishing for them thru June 10. Jim Weidman booked the boat himself Friday afternoon and had the trip of a lifetime. Jim caught a total of 14 drum fish keeping a limit and releasing the rest. Biggest of the afternoon was 67 lbs. Saturday afternoon Steve Henry and family experienced some more excellent drum fishing. We had them biting good till the wind came up directly against the tide. Despite the tough conditions to finish the trip the Henry family caught 10 drum up to 69 lbs for the night. Keeping one a piece and releasing the rest. Thanks for preserving the stock.

We will begin flounder fishing both in the bay and in the ocean in the coming weeks. In the ocean while flounder fishing we will also catch some seabass and ling. In the bay while targeting the flounder we will also catch some seatrout and croakers. The first tuna are showing up offshore and we will have some in our reports by months end.
