Grizzly Fishing Report 05-13-2013

As the Staples gingle goes...that was easy, is how to describe tog fishing. We had limits on all of our tog trips since the last report. The big black drum have arrived with fish being taken already to 75 lbs. For anyone wanting a shot at a big fish, close to home, now thru early June is the time. Stripers are making a good showing along the beach front and with any luck we'll see a few. Flounder fishing is shaping up to be a great season with lots of fish already showing up in their normal early spots. We'll be after them before months end. Sea trout have been taken, hook and line, up to 7lbs on near shore structure. Great news for the future of that fishery. We will no doubt have some sea trout limits mixed in with the flounder real soon. Black seabass season will open May 19th. We have some weekdays available opening week of seabass if you would like to get out.
