Click Here For Fishing Report Archives We would like to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone as this will be our last report for 2007. We will post our next report in January after our last trip on January 7th. Looking out the window at the storm force winds forecasted for this evening one can only guess what will come of this shake up. One thing for sure is that the water temperatures are still conducive to good striper and tog fishing for a few more weeks to come. Striper fishing has been good the last few weeks and we have even been harvesting some nice flounder along with the stripers. Bernie Smelstoys and friends joined us on a windy morning and were forced to fish tight to the beach for the morning. With the winds finally subsiding and a few keeper in the box we headed off the beach front and had a fantastic finish to the day. We finished the day off with eight keeper stripers and eight bluefish along with a number of throw back stripers. Lloyd Farber and family joined us next for a day of striper fishing and were off to a good start but returned to the dock early as one of the family members was not fealing well. Following two more blow days we were back at it with Don Kopp and friends for a day of fishing in the snow. We wound up with a few stripers in the box and a few that went back and a fair catch of tog to finish up the day. The day would not have been complete with out a snow ball fight before enjoying a crock pot full of dogs and sauerkraut on the ride home. Next we were joined by the folks from Gentle Bend Electrical who hung in their all day and brought home a near limit of stripers and a few tog. Dave Worst and friends joined us next and had nine keeper stripers and a few throw backs along with a handful of bluefish. John Toomey and friends joined us next and had a limit catch of stripers along with several throw backs, two nice flounder, and a couple of bluefish. Don Yocum and friends joined us next for a day of tog fishing and we had a tough time of it returning to the dock with only eight keepers to 7.5lbs for our efforts. Rob Scott and friends harvested five stripers, a nice flounder and thirty one tog up to 8.5lbs. Our 2008 book is looking good already so don't wait to long to lock in your date. Capt.
