The stripers are here, lots of large fish with only a few small fish so far. Bill Lanahan and family along with Jimmy & Evans Hicks toughed out a rough ride and were rewarded with nine fish, the smallest measuring in at 31 inches. Evans was the high liner of the day. Howard Zebly's group had much nicer weather the following day. They managed seven fish over 31 inches. After some more severe weather passed we started again with Randy Hirst and Dave Engel and friends. Dave, Randy, and party managed to capture 13 nice fish with Dave receiving high hook award. The very next day they were at it again. The group managed to catch ten more nice stripers. On a birthday trip for Mary Ann Winkler hosted by Mean Gene, Reds, and friends the fish bit once more. The birthday girl received high hook award for three fish. The rest of the crew harvested seven more for a total of ten for the day. Monsoon season came upon us the next two days and shut things off a little. Howard Zebly and party and the Queby Corp gang had two tougher days of fishing with three and four fish for the days. Things should be right back to normal once the cold front does pass and should show us the first influx of slot fish. Check out our new archive page. It's brand new and has reports back to the beginning of the year. Capt Jerry Blakeslee Charter Boat Grizzly Capt. Jerry Delaware's #1 Tog and Striper Charter
