Well we survived Hurricane Sandy here in Delaware with a high tide of 5.8 feet. We fared much better than those to our north. Our prayers go out to them with their rebuilding effort.

We had finally had started to see some good tog fishing leading up to Sandy but the combination of her and the following Noreaster had put a damper on our fishing efforts. We have also lost plenty of days to this seemingly never ending cycle of north wind. Mid November we had a couple of nice days one weekend but our water had so much sediment in it the fish didn't want to cooperate.

Finally things are getting back to normal and the fish have been responding. We have seen some nice catches of striped bass as we normally do this time of year. Some days the keeper ration is better than other but we can finally say we are catching stripers. This good striper fishing should only improve with the amount of bait around. Tog fishing remains tough but should pick up as well with the water finally cleaning up.

We are scheduling trips thru the Christmas holiday at this point and will continue into the New Year weather providing. So if you would like to get out give us a call. We will also be putting trips together during the week so if you would like to get on a makeup trip give us a call.
