Click Here For Fishing Report Archives Tuna fishing is good and should continue for another month. Thank God for the croakers and with a little luck you can sometimes catch a nice flounder. The best is yet to come though this fall with Tautog and Striper fishing running into the winter months. John Quarmley and family had a great time croaker fishing in the Delaware Bay. Ed Lesniczak and friends had a nice day of flounder fishing with the heaviest flounder of the day weighing in at 8lb 2 oz for Dave Sawczuk. Andrew Cottone and friends joined us for a birthday celebration for Nick Cottone and had a catch of croakers. Chuck Neer and family had a great morning croaker fishing in the Delaware Bay. We had the privilege of taking a remote operated vehicle out to reef site 11 to look at the subway cars for a documentary. It was quite a site to see the amount of marine life on the cars not to mention the fish that seemed completely undisturbed by the camera. Local fish cleaner Jay Cambel and friends joined us for their annual overnighter. Jay started things off by releasing a white marlin which was it till dark when we harvested six fifty pound yellowfin and a nice mess of dolphin. The tropical storm set in and kept us from returning offshore till Sunday Sept 3rd with Sonny
Do and friends for an overnight trip. We opted to try for some dolphin first and caught a boat limit of the tasty fish then set up for the overnight chunk. We managed one small sword for three sword bites and one for three on the yellowfin bites.
