Click Here For Fishing Report Archives Well just when it looks like things are starting to pick up with the summer time species the fish let you know things just aren't quite right. Hopefully these nice warm days will get things back on track with the seabass, flounder, and croakers which are the mainstay of our summer bottom species. Looking forward to some tuna fishing in the near future as well. We had a group from the Quarryville Fire Company on board for a day of wreck fishing. The guys had a nice pick of seabass however many did not meet the minimum size limit. The guys did take home a couple dozen bass and five nice flounder up to five pounds. Larry Brown and friends joined us for an inshore thresher shark trip. We had a thresher bite but we never got the hook in him so we had to settle for a half dozen seabass and one flounder for the trip. Don Yocum and friends joined us for a day of bottom fishing and left the decision up to us as to what to fish for. We started with some flounder fishing in the bay but with a wind against tide situation and only two flounder to start the trip off we headed off to see if we could find a few tog. Find the tog we did and the guys caught a whole bunch and did take home a dozen for supper. Our next trip was with the folks from the Goodwill Fishing Club. We went on a search mission for whatever we could find and found some wrecks holding good number of tog but most went back for another day. We finished up the day with a few tog, a bluefish, and a flounder for our efforts. We have a two Saturdays in July available and two Sundays in August for anyone interested. Capt. Carey Evans
