The calendar says summer has just arrived and so do the fish. Flounder fishing is finally heating up in all locations and should remain good at this point thru September. The first few triggerfish have been caught along with the first few croakers in the bay. There are still some sea trout in the bay as well. Lets keep our fingers crossed this is a sign of good things to come in the future. Yellowfin tuna fishing has been good as it has the last two Junes as well. We will continue to see some seabass in our catches as well throughout the summer and it will really get good again in September. The inshore shark fishery is in full swing too for anyone wanting to tangle with something big close to home. First of all thanks to all that have joined us the last couple of weeks. We have too many trips to mention them all so hear are just a few of the highlights. Larry Medina caught our first passenger limit of flounder this month - good job. Ray Donahue landed our biggest yellowfin tuna at 56 lbs. Ray also landed our biggest dolphin at 15 lbs. Greg Crone and friends had their annual June fishing trip and even had T-shirts made up for the crew. Thanks Guys. We have plenty of dates available this summer so give us a call if you would like to get out. Remember to take the kids fishing!
