Click Here For Fishing Report Archives Summer time looks like it is finally here and the fishing is starting to resemble it. Seabass and flounder fishing is shaping up on the open bottom and we are anxiously awaiting the croakers in the bay to accompany the flounder. Inshore shark fishing is still an option for thresher and brown sharks and dusky's will be around for the rest of the summer. Tuna fishing has shown good signs for those targeting them during the early season. Jeff Lauer and friends joined us first on a windy morning. With the deck stacked against us we fished some inshore wrecks and came home with a good catch of tog with plenty of throw back tog and seabass as well. Next, we were joined by Ron Simbeck and friends for an afternoon of wreck fishing. We harvested a nice catch of seabass to 3 lbs and a handful of tog to 8 lb 8 oz. The following day Jeff Lauer and friends joined us for another trip. We had hoped to get back after those seabass but mother nature wouldn't allow it so we stayed inshore and harvested a fair catch of tog, a seabass, a lingcod, a porgie, and a bunch of throw back tog. Next, we were joined by Jerry Markel and friends for a half day trip. We opted to give the flounder a try and came home with six nice keepers to 23" along with a few throw backs. Steve and Jamie Ortiz joined us next for another half day trip. We gave the flounder a good effort but only managed a handful of throw backs. Fred We have an unexpected open weekend on June 30 and July 1st. We also have other dates available including some weekends this summer so anyone wanting any information, feel free to give us a call.
