Tog fishing remains good real close to home. We are looking for the stripers to get back down the bay into our striking range. With any luck we may see these post spawn stripers show up along with the black drum. This makes for some real fun fishing. The seabass fishery will open on May 22nd. We still have a couple of weekend dates available this month.
Karl Reed and friends joined us for some tog fishing. We looked to start close to home but mother nature didn't allow that. We headed back out in the ocean looking for a possible codfish along with the tog. Well we never caught any cod but we had an excellent bite on the tog. Paul Mego joined us next with some co workers and there sons. We had an excellent bite on the tog and harvested a quick limit. Then we went looking for our first black drum but we didn't get him.
As stated earlier we still have some prime dates available in May so anyone wanting to get out should give us a call. Come on down and let us catch you a Black Drum also know as the Delaware Bay Tuna!
