Well April sure did come in like a lion. Hopefully it's going to go out like a lamb. Water temperatures are making a real fast recovery over the last two days. With any luck we'll keep these spring like conditions and get in some quality fishing.

Bernie Smelystoys and family had a nice spring limit of tog and young Dylan Hannum captured our first black drum of the spring. We have spent the last two trips up the bay concentrating on striper fishing. Gary Gutowski and friends had a nice day of striper fishing capturing six keepers and releasing over twenty. A group of locals joined us for our next striper trip and had four fish that made the grade and threw back over twenty five.

Looking forward to more of the striper action with more drum fish in the mix all the time. We will also be fishing for tautog and will begin seabass fishing real soon as well.
