Click Here For Fishing Report Archives Well March is a wrap but not before some nice tog came over the rails of the Grizzly. We will begin our Spring Striper fishing along with more tog fishing throughout this month. We should catch our first Black Drum and Seabass by months end. Anyone who always wanted to catch something real big but didn't want to go tuna fishing should give Black Drum fishing a try this spring. Last year we caught them up to 80 lbs. Alex Levantowsky and friends joined us on March 19th for a day of tog fishing. We had a pretty day however the fish reminded us of how difficult tog fishing can be this time of year. We harvested six tog and released around twenty for our efforts. Alex and friends were back again on the 26th and with warmer temperatures expectations were a little higher. Well, the first two stops were nothing short of a bust. Third stop of the day we harvested 5 tog and released twelve. The group persevered and on the last stop of the day threw another 20 tog in the box up to the 81/2lb one for Billy. Don Yocum and friends joined us for the last two days of March. The first day started off fair and finished up strong with the group harvesting a near limit catch including a 10 1/4lb fish for Keith Giagurich and a 9 1/2lb fish for Carl Wagner. The following day Don himself led the charge as the group came home with 45 tog for the day.
